Termite Baiting

Termite Baiting for Targeted Colony Control

Targeted Termite Monitoring and Control

This tends to be the first approach. Stations are placed in specific areas around your home and once termite activity is discovered baits are placed inside the existing stations.

The termite bait used is non-chemical and contains an active ingredient, so effective that only a small amount is needed. Termites ingest the bait and carry it to back the colony where they share it with other termites. If enough active ingredient is ingested it is possible to eliminate the colony.

It can take 3-6 months to eliminate a colony.

Termite Baiting Frequently Asked Questions

Monitoring stations are placed around your property and activated once termites are detected. The colony feeds on the bait and carries it back, which works through the nest over a three to six month period

Results generally occur over three to six months as the bait moves through the colony. We monitor the stations along the way.

It depends on your property and the situation. Baiting suits some homes, a chemical barrier suits others, and sometimes both are used. We recommend the right approach after an inspection.
